What you'll do

  • Perform technical and Life Cycle Support for the Surface Sonar AN/SQQ-89 family of systems.
  • Analyze technical drawings, manuals, and electronic schematics to troubleshoot and repair electronic components.
  • Develop and provide recommended updates to schematics, designs, specifications, and electrical diagrams.
  • Configure and troubleshoot computer system networks, hardware, and software components.
  • Install software patches and firmware updates to restore computer systems to a fully operational state.
  • Manage thermal management and cooling systems for high-power electronics.
  • Oversee shipboard power distribution, signal processing hardware, and circuit analysis.
  • Manage acoustic transducer electrical interfacing, cable routing, shielding, and grounding protocols.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Must have 3+ years of related experience.
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must have experience in analysis, design, development, integration, and test of military systems.
  • Must have expertise in shipboard power distribution, signal processing hardware, and circuit analysis.
  • Must have knowledge of thermal management, cooling systems, and naval structural integrity standards.
  • Must have experience with electronic components, systems, and solutions.
