Electrical Sustainment Engineer

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the electrical sustainment of radar products.
• Perform design updates for RF and embedded electronics, including hardware selection and PCB updates.
• Troubleshoot system and board issues to create manufacturable repair drawings and work instructions.
• Author and release Engineering Change Requests and Orders to improve drawings and design releases.
• Manage long lead and end-of-life components with sourcing teams to ensure continuous production.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and quality teams on build intent and configuration control.
• Reverse-engineer existing designs to identify critical component characteristics for sustainment and alternate part approval.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and sustaining complex board designs and products.
• Experience with at least 2 of the following: RF systems, Linux-based SOCs, Ethernet, common communication buses, or power regulation.
• Proficiency in PCB design package maintenance including schematic design, component selection, layout, and output generation.
• Ability to reverse-engineer designs, troubleshoot hardware root causes, and implement design improvements.
• Competence with test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation tools.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
