What you'll do

  • Develop solutions to complex engineering problems for enterprise-class hardware.
  • Design and develop custom datacenter solutions using x86, ARM SoCs, DDR4/DDR5, NVMeoF, PCIe, GPUs, and DPUs.
  • Author design guides and specifications while driving architectural direction for next-generation devices and platforms.
  • Conduct and communicate design and feature analysis based on specific requirements to meet cost, performance, and reliability targets.
  • Perform hardware design, analysis, and debugging of complex printed circuit boards.
  • Coordinate with ODM/JDM partners to execute designs against specified architectures and review validation results.
  • Ensure product requirements are implemented by collaborating across hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and procurement disciplines.

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in hardware design, analysis, and debugging of complex printed circuit boards.
  • Experience in computer architecture and designing with at least one high-speed interface such as PCIe, DDR, SAS, or Ethernet.
  • Ability to conduct and communicate design and feature analysis based on specific requirements.
  • Ability to set standards and achieve design targets for cost, performance, and reliability through proper component and supplier selection.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (preferred).
  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 1+ years with a PhD (preferred).
