Electrical Engineering Applications

What you'll do

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for electrical design and analysis applications.
• Troubleshoot performance, configuration, and workflow issues impacting engineering teams.
• Develop scripts, automation, and integrations to extend and improve engineering tools.
• Translate engineering requirements into functional technical solutions and custom features.
• Manage the testing, validation, and deployment of system updates and patches.
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and configuration records.
• Ensure application environments remain stable and compliant with aerospace development standards.
• Optimize engineering workflows through continuous process improvement and tool enhancement.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• A university degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and at least 5 years of experience are required.
• At least 7 years of experience in application support, development, or engineering tool administration is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills within technical or engineering environments are required.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens EDM/Xpedition tool suite is required.
• Proficiency with scripting or automation languages such as Python, PowerShell, or VBScript is required.
• Understanding of electrical/PCB design concepts and ability to communicate with technical stakeholders are required.
• Experience with software deployment, testing, configuration control, and issue remediation is required.
• Experience with Siemens HyperLynx and Valor tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with Cadence design tools for legacy support (preferred).
• Knowledge of PLM systems and experience with EDA tool integrations (preferred).
• Background supporting engineering CAD/EDA applications in aerospace or regulated industries (preferred).
