(DoW SkillBridge), Sr. Associate, Integration/Test Engineer will support the integration, test, calibration, and operational readiness of complex ground and airborne electronic systems across multiple COMINT/SIGINT platforms. The role involves conducting pre-operational checks, configuring LRUs for multi-thread interface testing, and executing Ground Test Plans to validate system performance. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware anomalies, performing EMI/TEMPEST testing, and providing technical input for design improvements. Candidates will utilize a wide range of electronic test equipment including network analyzers, TDRs, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and fiber optic tools while utilizing Linux-based applications and COTS software. The position addresses the critical challenge of ensuring mission effectiveness and reliability for specialized military communication systems on airborne and ground-based platforms. Required skills include strong analytical troubleshooting and experience with cryptographic units and loading devices.
Conduct subsystem pre-operational checks and prepare components for single-thread and multi-thread interface testing.
Execute system-level Ground Test Plans to support integration, verification, and validation activities.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware discrepancies to the component level to ensure rapid fault resolution.
Operate a wide range of electronic test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
Support EMI/TEMPEST testing and aircraft pre-flight checks to ensure readiness for flight operations.
Document system performance, hardware anomalies, and technical data in engineering records.
Provide technical input to improve mission effectiveness, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
What we're looking for
Must be an active member of the U.S. military with 180 days of service remaining prior to separation and at least 180 continuous days of active service.
Must have 6–8 years of experience maintaining SIGINT/COMINT mission and communications systems on U.S. military airborne and/or ground-based platforms.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is desired; otherwise, a combination of military training, an associate degree, or relevant experience is acceptable.
Must be familiar with electronic test equipment, COTS hardware, Linux-based applications, and other COTS software tools.
Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, a U.S. DoD Secret clearance and be eligible for a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain required security clearances.
Must be able to obtain FAA Class III flight physical qualification and travel up to 10% CONUS and OCONUS.
Experience supporting mission systems on military platforms is highly desired (preferred).
Experience with G550 or similar ISR platforms, Cryptographic units, and loading devices are preferred.
