You will ensure high availability and security for government customers by managing critical infrastructure services, monitoring, and complex technical issue resolution.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and operate resilient distributed systems across thousands of compute nodes in multiple data centers.
Build and ship production-grade software using modern engineering practices and AI-driven development tools.
Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, and validation platforms on public cloud providers.
Write microservices on containerization frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Mesos.
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to manage cloud resources.
Create precise, structured prompts and maintain system context to ensure reliable and secure AI outputs.
Critically evaluate human and AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
Participate in an on-call rotation to resolve complex technical issues and maintain high service availability.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen operating on U.S. Soil.
Must be able to meet customer and government screening standards, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan.
A related technical degree is required.
Must have 5+ years of backend software development experience.
Must have deep knowledge of programming in Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby.
Must have experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service.
Must have experience with Agile development methodology and Test Driven Development.
Must have experience with critical infrastructure services including monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting applications.
Experience with distributed database systems and relational databases like postgres is a plus (preferred).
Must have a demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering.
Must have experience using AI tools in development workflows.
Must have advanced prompt engineering skills to write precise, structured prompts and cultivate system context.
