What you'll do

  • Develop and sustain intricate data flows from multiple sources using Apache NiFi.
  • Create Python-based solutions to solve complex data manipulation challenges.
  • Retrieve, transform, and route data originating from remote APIs using NiFi and Python.
  • Convert legacy Java implementations into comprehensive Python-based systems.
  • Build Grafana dashboards to monitor performance metrics and infrastructure status.
  • Design secure cross-domain transfer mechanisms for networks with different security levels.
  • Document new and existing data flow architectures using Microsoft Visio.
  • Evaluate change request documentation for technical precision and completeness.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience.
  • Six years of relevant experience is required if no degree is held.
  • Proficiency with Linux command-line operations.
  • Experience in at least one programming language, with Python strongly preferred.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 requirements (IAT Level 2) via security indoctrination or certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi and general networking knowledge are preferred.
