Distinguished Engineer, Exposure Management

What you'll do

• Lead the strategic transformation of exposure management into a continuous, real-time, and automated threat-informed capability.
• Own the end-to-end data architecture including canonical models, asset/identity graphs, and ingestion patterns for security telemetry.
• Design and deliver automation, machine learning, and GenAI capabilities to accelerate discovery, prioritization, and remediation.
• Architect a unified exposure view using attack-graph analysis to identify exploitable paths to critical assets and PHI.
• Develop outcome-based metrics and reporting frameworks that translate technical data into business risk for executive audiences.
• Build automated mobilization layers and remediation workflows to replace manual handoffs with API-driven, SLA-bound processes.
• Set the multi-year architectural roadmap for the exposure management platform and related security infrastructure.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects on automation-first, validation-driven, and data-architecture-led engineering practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, math, or computer science) is required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in technical roles with the ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
• 10+ years of experience bridging the gap between deep technical work and business strategy.
• 10+ years of data architecture experience at enterprise scale, including modeling, ingestion, and quality management.
• 8+ years of experience architecting large-scale automation and data/ML systems in production environments.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years specifically in vulnerability or exposure management.
• 5+ years of experience setting multi-year technical strategy and architectural roadmaps for enterprise platforms.
• Experience designing outcome-based metrics and reporting to executive leadership regarding security risk and compliance.
