Distinguished Engineer, Enterprise Solutions Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead system design and architecture reviews for enterprise applications, platforms, and shared services.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient end-to-end system designs.
• Evaluate logical architectures against approved patterns for networking, security, identity, and API management.
• Assess application architectures against resiliency standards including RTO, RPO, failover, and recovery readiness.
• Provide architecture gap assessments and remediation plans for application teams and leadership.
• Create and evolve reference architectures, reusable engineering blueprints, and review frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and architects in system design, resiliency engineering, and enterprise solution patterns.
• Support the development of AI-enabled automation for architecture reviews and recommendation systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, system engineering, platform engineering, distributed systems, or enterprise architecture.
• Deep expertise in system design for large-scale enterprise applications and distributed platforms.
• Expertise in infrastructure, networking, security, application, integration, and operations domains.
• Experience designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures across Azure, GCP, AWS, and on-prem environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security patterns including edge ingress, load balancing, API gateways, and identity management.
• Proficiency in resiliency engineering, including high availability, disaster recovery, and failover planning.
• Experience with Kubernetes, web-hosted platforms, APIs, and managed data services.
