What you'll do

Drive requirement definition through design, validation, ramp, and mass production readiness as a module lead.
Translate system-level requirements into optical design targets and conduct trade-space analyses with system architecture teams.
Plan and execute engineering builds to meet program goals and deliver key milestones.
Develop advanced performance metrics and corresponding specifications for display modules.
Lead optical failure analysis and implement corrective actions and mitigations.
Define measurement methodologies and data-analysis workflows in collaboration with optical metrology teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
Expertise in optical design and characterization, modeling, and measurement systems
Experience leading engineering builds and managing module readiness across development phases
Proficiency in data acquisition tools (Python, LabVIEW) and optical simulation software (LightTools, Zemax)
Strong project management and multi-functional leadership skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers on system architecture and requirements
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking in root cause analysis
