The Display Metrology Engineer joins the Module Performance Group within the Hardware Technology organization. In this role, you will design and develop industry-leading optical calibration and metrology systems for testing optical modules and components, such as display modules and stacked lenses, during the New Product Introduction phase. Your daily responsibilities include prototyping next-generation metrology solutions, defining Engineering Requirement Specifications, and leading hardware and software validation through Failure Analysis and Design of Experiments. You will also manage technology handoffs to manufacturing partners and assess vendor capabilities. Required technical skills include experience with optical instrumentation, data collection, and automation using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, C#, and LabVIEW. You must also possess quantitative data and image analysis skills using JMP or similar tools to solve complex optical measurement problems.
