Display Metrology Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop solutions for calibrating, characterizing, and testing display modules and optical components.
• Develop metrology system architectures and derive requirements for optical instruments and mechanical fixtures using numerical models.
• Define Engineering Requirement Specifications (ERS) and lead the development of key system components.
• Integrate software and hardware components to build prototypes for critical validations and experiments.
• Lead vendors to develop and qualify metrology systems to meet production requirements.
• Conduct hardware and software failure analysis from the module level down to the component level.
• Deploy and bring up developed systems in factories during the New Product Introduction stage.
• Analyze large amounts of NPI data to create build reports and system design improvement plans.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Physics, Computer Science, EE, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in metrology of display (OLED, LCD, LED) or other optical products.
• Experience building metrology systems, including SW scripting and optical instruments setup.
• Experience in display design, characterization, calibration, test, optical instruments, image processing, or opto-mechanical system design.
• MS or PhD in Optics, Physics, Computer Science, EE, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Programming skills in Matlab, Python, or C/C++ (preferred).
• Strong data analytics and visualization skills with tools like JMP or Python (preferred).
