Director, Test & Evaluation - Robotics

What you'll do

• Lead the Flight Test and Test Engineering teams by providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Establish flight test methodologies to evaluate mission autonomy capabilities using surrogate vehicles.
• Drive the verification and validation of Lattice Command & Control and Collaborative Autonomy behaviors.
• Architect and scale automated SIL, HIL, and regression test pipelines for software validation.
• Oversee live test execution, including range safety protocols, instrumentation, and real-time telemetry.
• Ensure all flight test operations comply with FAA, FCC, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling for multi-program flight test campaigns.
• Establish standardized processes and KPIs to measure test effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience testing unmanned aerial systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Proven expertise in software and hardware integration for complex autonomous systems.
• Demonstrated success leading flight test operations as a Test Director for mission-critical platforms.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and compliance requirements for unmanned systems.
• Current FAA Part 107 certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
