What you'll do

  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of over 175 engineers and managers across multiple locations.
  • Direct engineering program performance regarding technical requirements, schedules, and costs for the T&RF portfolio.
  • Manage engineering budgets and coordinate resource allocation including personnel, lab resources, and tools.
  • Oversee the hiring, mentoring, and professional development of engineering and management staff.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure continuous product production.
  • Support new business pursuits by managing engineering content for proposals and growing cross-functional relationships.
  • Provide technical training and drive innovation initiatives through industry interaction and continued education.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering strategy and corporate objectives through collaboration with leadership and program management.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience, a graduate degree with 13 years, or no degree with 19 years of related experience.
  • Active U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one (TS/SCI preferred).
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Management (preferred).
  • Extensive engineering experience, including work in the defense industry (preferred).
  • Proven senior management experience leading multiple teams and sub-managers (preferred).
  • Demonstrated technical leadership on large, complex programs (preferred).
  • Expertise in system-level development for large communications systems (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
