What you'll do

Drive a multi-year re-platform initiative for the Apple Store Online e-commerce platform.
Define new platform capabilities to support future customer-facing features for User Experience teams.
Modernize architecture to provide flexibility and dynamism while maintaining existing multi-billion dollar business operations.
Manage content, asset, product information, and syndication management systems.
Create and evaluate complex system designs for web technologies, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
Lead large, globally distributed technical teams to deliver end-to-end platform and workflow designs.
Translate business goals and customer needs into a single big-picture vision and technical roadmap.
Address scalability and reliability challenges for large-scale distributed and microservices architectures.

What we're looking for

10-15+ years of experience in Technical Product Management or Engineering Management with a focus on platform development.
7+ years of senior management experience leading large, technical, and globally distributed teams.
BA/BS in Computer Science or an equivalently technical degree.
Experience shaping multi-year strategy and roadmaps for e-commerce platforms by connecting business goals to technical capabilities.
Deep hands-on technical fluency in web technologies, distributed architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines.
Deep understanding of modern e-commerce platforms, including microservices, payment systems, and catalog/inventory services.
MS in Computer Science or equivalently technical degree (preferred).
Experience leading an e-commerce re-platform focused on scale, speed, and innovation (preferred).
