What you'll do

  • Lead technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives.
  • Align technical strategies with business goals for low-latency Electronic Trading environments.
  • Direct strategies for server hardware platforms, OS tuning, automation, and infrastructure lifecycles.
  • Serve as Design Authority for the compute infrastructure application stack and configuration management.
  • Interface with hardware and software vendors to establish next-generation platform infrastructure.
  • Manage team resources, budgets, tactical operations, and the execution of internal processes.
  • Carry governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and cost of ownership.
  • Deliver technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
  • Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Understanding of IPv4 networking, including OSI model, unicast/broadcast/multicast, routing, and network segregation mechanisms.
  • Extensive experience with Configuration Management, using Chef or Ansible.
  • Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
  • Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent.
  • Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Practical cloud native experience.
