As Director, Data Scientist, you will join the Generative AI Systems team within Card Data Science to lead a specialized group of specialists in natural language processing, speech, and computer vision. What you'll do

Lead a team of specialists in NLP, speech, and computer vision to develop generative AI solutions.
Build machine learning models through all phases including design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
Develop software for internal business efficiency and customer-facing applications using Python, Kubernetes, AWS, H2O, and Spark.
Analyze large volumes of numeric and textual data to uncover insights for product development.
Translate complex technical work into tangible business goals for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Contribute original research to major NLP and AI/ML conferences.
Manage the development of solutions for dialogue, text summarization, speech recognition, and image processing.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 9 years of experience performing data analytics.
A Master's degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration plus 7 years of experience performing data analytics.
A PhD in a quantitative field plus 4 years of experience performing data analytics.
At least 4 years of experience leveraging open source programming languages for large scale data analysis.
At least 4 years of experience working with machine learning.
At least 4 years of experience utilizing relational databases.
At least 1 year of experience working with AWS.
At least 3 years of experience managing people.
