JOB TITLE: Director, BI Reporting, Sensing & Executive Analytics
The Director, BI Reporting, Sensing & Executive Analytics serves as the U.S.-based technical leader for a portfolio dedicated to transforming how leaders access and act on information. This role involves leading the technical vision and roadmap for business intelligence, sensing, and executive analytics. The individual will build next-generation analytics capabilities, including natural-language analytics, proactive insights, and AI-agent experiences. Key responsibilities include translating senior leadership priorities into technical investment choices, scalable capability roadmaps, and high-quality solutions. The role requires expertise in data platforms, analytics architecture, software delivery, and platform design. Specifically, the position focuses on evolving traditional reporting toward an AI-enabled future using generative AI, LLM-based applications, and trusted enterprise data to solve complex business needs within a global, matrixed organization.
Lead the technical vision and roadmap for BI reporting, sensing, and AI-enabled decision support platforms.
Guide the design and scaling of data, analytics, and AI solutions across architecture and platform choices.
Advance next-generation capabilities including natural-language analytics, generative AI, and AI-agent experiences.
Translate senior leadership priorities into technical investment choices and scalable execution roadmaps.
Build relationships with business leaders and global delivery teams to align strategy and adoption.
Provide leadership visibility on progress, risks, trade-offs, and decisions required for high-quality solutions.
Champion engineering, product, and user experience practices to ensure solutions are intuitive and business-relevant.
Integrate external practices and emerging technologies to create measurable value for the enterprise.
What we're looking for
Must have a Doctorate with 4 years of related experience, a Master’s with 8 years, or a Bachelor’s with 10 years of related experience.
Must have at least 4 years of experience managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
Leadership experience across business intelligence, analytics, data platforms, software products, or decision-support capabilities (preferred).
Experience leading analytics, software engineering, and/or data engineering teams and setting technical direction for modern enterprise data environments (preferred).
Ability to translate business strategy and senior leadership priorities into technical investment choices and execution plans (preferred).
Strong grounding in data platforms, analytics architecture, software delivery, and platform design (preferred).
Exposure to or leadership of AI-enabled solutions, including LLM-based applications and generative AI (preferred).
Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or another regulated industry (preferred).
