Director, AI Product Management - Data Center Business Unit joins the Data Center Business Unit to shape the future of AI-driven data center solutions. This leader will define and execute product strategies for AI-centric platforms and rack-level systems, including compute nodes, interconnect fabrics, power delivery, and cooling subsystems. The role involves leading cross-functional teams to translate market needs into requirements for silicon, firmware, and software while engaging with hyperscale cloud providers and enterprise customers. Key responsibilities include managing roadmaps, conducting market analysis on large language models and inference at scale, and mentoring a team of product managers. Candidates should possess expertise in AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, as well as knowledge of CPU/GPU architectures, PCIe, CXL, UAL, and rack-scale orchestration to solve complex problems regarding performance, power efficiency, and thermal management for large-scale infrastructure.
Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for AI-centric data center platforms and rack-level systems.
Conduct market analysis to identify AI workloads and emerging system-level trends like large language models and inference at scale.
Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements and integration specifications with engineering, firmware, and software teams.
Engage directly with hyperscale cloud providers and enterprise customers to gather feedback and co-develop proofs of concept.
Create compelling value propositions, competitive positioning, and go-to-market plans in partnership with marketing and sales leadership.
Manage product performance post-launch by analyzing power efficiency, thermal headroom, and network utilization to optimize ROI.
Mentor and grow a high-performing team of product managers while fostering a culture of innovation.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or a related field.
8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Ph.D. in Computer Architecture, Data Center Systems, Machine Learning Systems, or related field (preferred).
12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on data center or AI infrastructure (preferred).
Deep system-level knowledge of AI accelerators, CPU/GPU architectures, interconnect fabrics, memory hierarchies, and rack-level system design (preferred).
Experience with AI frameworks, compilers, optimization toolchains, and emerging data center trends like DPUs or edge inference (preferred).
Proven success launching complex silicon-plus-software products and engaging with C-level executives at hyperscale providers (preferred).
Track record of leading and mentoring product management teams (preferred).
