JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer II, Cloud Platform
As a DevOps Engineer II, Cloud Platform, you will join the Reliability organization to build and operate shared cloud infrastructure for product and machine learning workloads. You will design and operate a fleet of Kubernetes (EKS) clusters across production and ephemeral environments while evolving AWS infrastructure and network architecture, including VPCs, subnets, and IAM. Your daily responsibilities include building infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows using Terraform, CDK, and ArgoCD. You will also drive platform reliability by defining SLOs, managing on-call rotations, and improving developer experience. The role requires proficiency in Kubernetes networking, storage, and RBAC, as well as experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Envoy. You will solve complex problems regarding scalability, security, and cost efficiency for high-volume lending marketplace workloads.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) and 3+ years of professional experience.
3+ years of experience operating Kubernetes in production environments, including cluster networking, storage, and RBAC.
Proficiency with AWS infrastructure, including VPC design, networking, and IAM.
Proven expertise in implementing infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.
Experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools such as ArgoCD or similar.
Ability to influence technical decisions across teams and drive adoption of platform standards.
Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio or Envoy (preferred).
Experience designing or operating multi-cluster Kubernetes architectures (preferred).
