What you'll do

  • Plan, evaluate, and coordinate the installation or reconfiguration of hardware and software for integrated information systems.
  • Maintain technical expertise in radio frequency, SATCOM communications, and networking components like routers, firewalls, and gateways.
  • Propose and configure communication solutions to meet future requirements while optimizing for cost savings.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network maintenance and system instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze short- and long-range project planning and the utilization of proprietary systems.
  • Ensure the secure movement of information across multi-classification level computing environments.
  • Support hardware/software integration activities and provide engineering feedback on system upgrades and modifications.
  • Design portions of systems including the selection of appropriate hardware and software packages.

What we're looking for

  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Top Secret and Special Program access clearances within 365 days.
  • Must possess a DoD 8570/8140 recognized IAT Level-II or -III certification, such as Security+, GSEC, or CISA.
  • For Level 2: Requires a High School Diploma with 4 years experience, a Bachelor's with 2 years experience, or a Master's degree.
  • For Level 3: Requires a High School Diploma with 9 years experience, a Bachelor's with 5 years experience, a Master's with 3 years, or a Ph.D. with 1 year experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport and meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
  • Must have expertise in information systems hardware/software, radio frequency, SATCOM communications, and networking components like routers and firewalls.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and 24/7 on-call status.
