What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable database architectures across multi-domain infrastructures.
Apply Zero Trust principles to protect sensitive information at every layer of the data environment.
Integrate databases with enterprise Identity Providers using complex RBAC and ABAC models.
Implement data security measures including TLS 1.3, PKI, HSMs, and transparent data encryption.
Secure managed database services like RDS, Aurora, and Azure SQL using cloud-native tools.
Embed automated database security checks directly into CI/CD pipelines.
Map technical security controls to the Data and Visibility pillars of the DoD Zero Trust Strategy.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in database engineering, including security and performance.
Experience with integrating databases with enterprise Identity Providers (IdP) and managing complex RBAC and ABAC models.
Experience with the DoD Zero Trust Strategy.
Experience with TLS 1.3, PKI, HSMs, and transparent data encryption.
HS diploma or GED.
Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability (preferred).
Experience with database encryption, including field-level encryption (preferred).
TS/SCI clearance.
