TL;DR · Data Visualization Manager

As a Data Visualization Manager, Vice President on the Finance Data & Insights team, you will deliver executive-grade insights and artificial-intelligence-enabled experiences to help senior leaders make faster decisions. You will manage the full lifecycle of visualization and conversational analytics products, moving beyond static dashboards toward natural-language tools for exploring performance drivers and risk trade-offs. Your daily work involves designing narratives in Tableau and ThoughtSpot, building conversational analytics using Databricks Genie and ThoughtSpot Spotter, and partnering with engineering teams to ensure data quality and security within a regulated environment. You will utilize SQL and Alteryx while translating complex leadership questions into governed products. The role requires expertise in metric architecture, semantic modeling, and risk management to solve the challenge of providing secure, production-grade analytics for complex financial operations and reporting requirements.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver executive-grade dashboards and narratives using ThoughtSpot, Databricks, and Tableau.
  • Build AI-enabled conversational analytics tools to allow leaders to query data in natural language.
  • Translate complex leadership questions into governed data products and high-performing user experiences.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and value delivery.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data quality, lineage, and scalable architecture for finance metrics.
  • Implement security controls and privacy-by-design standards within a regulated environment.
  • Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and measurable usage tracking.
  • Establish technical standards and mentor analysts through structured coaching and peer reviews.

What we're looking for

  • Experience delivering data solutions and analytics for Finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated production delivery in Tableau and/or ThoughtSpot, including dashboard design and metric architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with the Databricks platform, including technical design discussions on semantic modeling and performance.
  • Advanced SQL skills and the ability to validate datasets and logic end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical products, including requirements definition and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience building and maintaining a backlog independently based on stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrated experience setting quality standards and mentoring analysts.
  • Demonstrated risk and control practices in a regulated environment, including data access governance and change management for reporting.
  • Experience building or product-managing conversational analytics or natural-language query experiences (preferred).
  • Experience with Databricks Genie and/or ThoughtSpot Spotter to enable governed self-service (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Alteryx for workflow automation and repeatable data preparation (preferred).
  • Finance domain knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience establishing analytics governance, such as metric-definition standards, release management, and adoption measurement (preferred).
  • Familiarity with model risk management and artificial-intelligence governance in regulated environments (preferred).
  • Prior formal people-management experience (hiring, performance management, and team development) (preferred).
