The Data Scientist, Mid joins the Data and AI team within the CIO organization to build and maintain automated Tableau dashboards, data models, and queries for internal and client-facing business leaders. You will partner with business leaders to document and prioritize reporting requirements, transforming disparate data sources into actionable insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include owning existing reporting assets, troubleshooting workflows, and refining pipelines to support enterprise decisions regarding contracts, staffing, and risk mitigation. You will utilize Databricks, Alteryx, Power BI, and AI tooling to build notebooks and automate workflows. This role requires expertise in data modeling, data visualization, and project management to solve complex analytical challenges. You must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders while ensuring high data accuracy and quality.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain automated Tableau dashboards and data models for internal and client-facing business leaders.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 2+ years of experience with reporting or BI tools, including building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
  • 2+ years of experience with data modeling and building workflows in Databricks or Alteryx.
  • Experience with Databricks such as building notebooks to support dashboards.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
