What you'll do

Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and source-to-target mappings.
Build and improve data pipelines to deliver reliable data products.
Use SQL and Python to query, profile, transform, and validate data.
Troubleshoot data quality issues and investigate issues across multiple tables or sources.
Document data definitions, transformation logic, and technical specifications.
Support data solutions built with Databricks and AWS services like Glue and S3.
Explain technical findings and data products to non-technical business stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Math, Physics, or Information Systems and Technology.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business or data requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders to facilitate information-gathering and communicate findings.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and investigating data issues across multiple tables or sources.
Experience using AWS services including AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and Amazon RDS.
Experience using Python for data processing, automation, or pipeline development.
Experience with Databricks, data warehousing, or data engineering certifications (preferred).
