Data Scientist, Mid

What you'll do

• Create ETL pipelines by querying APIs, cleaning data, and creating storage schemas.
• Develop and lead the creation of algorithms and automated analytic software.
• Apply statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods to complex datasets.
• Translate disparate data points into objective answers to advise clients on informed decisions.
• Generate data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS.
• Integrate and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products.
• Provide deep technical understanding of data meaning and practical applications to clients.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in data science, or 7+ years of experience in data science in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of experience using data science programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and conditioning data, and creating schemas for data storage.
• Experience with version control tools, including git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods.
• Ability to design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms.
• Ability to develop solutions and integrate and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products.
• Ability to generate data visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS.
• Experience working with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT and the data and tools associated with these disciplines (preferred).
• Experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or Intelligence Community (preferred).
• Knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins (preferred).
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph (preferred).
