As a Data Scientist I - Epic Model Monitoring, you will join the team to develop solutions for automated monitoring of quantitative, predictive, prescriptive, and Generative AI models within the Epic ecosystem. You will focus on automating clinical prediction model monitoring and building dashboards for GenAI models using Epic Cogito and Nebula to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Your daily responsibilities include designing and maintaining monitoring systems, collecting and preprocessing data from Epic Chronicles, Caboodle, and enterprise data lakehouses, and managing the end-to-end analytics product lifecycle. You will utilize Python, SQL, and potentially Snowflake to build innovative features. This role addresses the technical challenge of ensuring model accuracy and reliability while integrating complex AI outputs into clinical workflows for healthcare providers through proactive problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and clinical teams.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Epic Cogito Fundamentals certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role.
Advanced degree in statistics, applied mathematics, predictive analytics, computer science, operations research, or a related quantitative discipline (preferred).
Proven, hands-on experience navigating, querying, and working within Epic Cogito and Nebula (preferred).
High proficiency in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with Snowflake or other data lakehouse platforms (preferred).
Experience with Epic is a plus; familiarity with or interest in the healthcare industry is a plus.
