The Principal Data Scientist - AI Foundations, Specialist Models joins the Entity Resolution Systems team to build and ship state-of-the-art machine learning solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop a next-generation entity resolution stack, solving real-world business problems by identifying hidden insights within massive volumes of numeric and textual data. Your daily responsibilities include building machine learning models through all phases of development, from design and training to evaluation and implementation. You will utilize a technical stack including Python, AWS, Spark, SQL, Scala, and R, while applying deep learning, transformer architectures, graph ML, and agentic AI tools. This role focuses on creating an extensible system to power diverse use cases across marketing and customer servicing for a large customer base.

What you'll do

Build a next-generation entity resolution solution using cutting-edge machine learning approaches.
Develop machine learning models through all phases including design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
Utilize Python, AWS, Spark, transformers, and graph ML to analyze large volumes of numeric and textual data.
Leverage Agentic AI tools and workflows to build and test new systems.
Translate complex technical work into tangible business goals for stakeholders.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies and state-of-the-art methods for real-world application.
Retrieve, combine, and analyze data from a variety of sources and structures.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of experience performing data analytics.
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration plus 3 years of experience performing data analytics.
A PhD in a quantitative field.
Experience with Python, Scala, or R (preferred).
Experience with machine learning (preferred).
Experience with SQL (preferred).
Experience working with AWS (preferred).
A Master’s Degree or PhD in a STEM field (preferred).
