JOB TITLE: Data Scientist As a Data Scientist within the Product Support and Logistics Division, you will leverage data and analytics tools to develop actionable insights and support business decision-making. You will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and organizing data to build and maintain shared data tables. What you'll do

  • Extract, transform, and analyze data using SAS and similar analytics tools.
  • Develop and maintain data tables and datasets within Snowflake.
  • Write and maintain code to support data analysis and reporting needs.
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and other analytics solutions.
  • Create data visualizations that translate complex information into meaningful business insights.
  • Support the development and implementation of new analytics tools and capabilities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and record data and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance existing analytics, dashboards, and data solutions as business needs evolve.

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of statistical tools, processes, and practices to describe business results and assist in decision-making.
  • Ability to use programming languages to write and modify code for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of requirement analysis tools and methods to elicit and record business functionality.
  • Ability to perform analytical thinking to determine root causes of organizational problems and create solutions.
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAS, or similar data and analytics tools (preferred).
  • Business or functional experience paired with strong technical capabilities (preferred).
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical business stakeholders (preferred).
