Senior Data Science Manager

What you'll do

• Build and lead the enterprise AI testing and evaluation function including design and execution of testing frameworks.
• Manage AI risk by overseeing pre-deployment testing and post-deployment monitoring for generative and agentic solutions.
• Establish AI performance, risk, and safety standards in partnership with Model Risk Management.
• Lead the response and escalation process for AI-related risks to ensure timely mitigation and containment actions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of AI specialists.
• Act as a hands-on practitioner-leader contributing to technical strategy and testing methodologies.
• Oversee end-to-end analytical projects using structured and unstructured data to extract business insights.
• Recruit, train, and develop best-in-class Data Scientists for the organization.

What we're looking for

• A university or college degree is typically required for this role.
• A Master’s degree, PhD, or professional certifications are desirable (preferred).
• At least 8 years of industry experience is typically required.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
• Candidates must be proficient in Python, Microsoft Studio, Agent Builder, and Azure.
• Experience in AI Governance, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics are preferred (preferred).
• Experience in Responsible AI, Data Mining, and Modeling is preferred (preferred).
