Data Science Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and conduct statistical experiments including A/B testing and hypothesis testing to evaluate product performance.
• Identify actionable patterns and insights from high-volume data to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Build and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines to consolidate unstructured usage data from third-party surfaces.
• Write production-quality code and perform code reviews to establish best practices in architecture and testing.
• Synthesize complex analysis into clear stories for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive quick decision-making.
• Manage technical projects independently from inception to completion with minimal managerial guidance.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the hiring process through technical interviews.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of relevant experience in data science, data/ML engineering, or analytics engineering.
• Bachelor's degree and/or advanced degree in a quantitative or engineering field, or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.
• Strong skills in at least one programming/data-manipulation language such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Proven experience architecting and maintaining scalable, automated data pipelines and owning large-scale data products.
• Solid grounding in statistics and experimentation, including hypothesis testing and recognizing bias.
• Excellent data storytelling skills to synthesize complex analysis for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to independently manage technical projects and mentor junior team members.
• Exposure to LLM/agentic products, product analytics for AI/ML applications, or usage-data instrumentation (preferred).
