Data Ops, Lead Data Builder

What you'll do

• Build production-ready data solutions by converting architectural designs and business requirements into reusable data products.
• Develop physical Silver structures following enterprise-agnostic models and reference patterns.
• Author Gold data products that incorporate specific business logic, metrics, and functional knowledge.
• Promote data solutions to production through governed CI/CD pipelines while clearing quality, security, and cost checks.
• Refactor bespoke and learning-stage work into durable, production-grade assets.
• Apply AI and automation to accelerate data build and testing processes without bypassing governance.
• Maintain consistent development patterns, naming conventions, and connectivity standards across the data ecosystem.
• Set and uphold data operations standards for internal teams and outside service partners.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience building production-grade data solutions with depth in analytics engineering or equivalent business-plus-build work.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Teradata in addition to a Databricks-first stack (preferred).
• Expert knowledge of dimensional and medallion (Silver/Gold) modeling within an enterprise-agnostic data model.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated code evaluation, and controlled promotion to production.
• Strong software-engineering discipline including version control (Git), code review, and writing efficient, reusable code.
• Ability to perform performance-tuning and cost-optimizing for Spark and SQL transformations at scale.
• Experience in complex, regulated enterprises, specifically healthcare or PBM data (preferred).
