What you'll do

Design and develop IT architecture solutions that integrate processes, applications, data, and technology to solve business problems.
Translate data governance and business requirements into scalable technical solutions in partnership with the Data Steward.
Define and implement firm-wide policies, standards, and architecture blueprints to ensure system consistency and integration.
Develop technical specifications for platforms, hardware/software compatibility, and system input/output parameters.
Identify and resolve system design weaknesses to support downstream business and reporting use cases.
Research emerging technologies to develop migration plans and roadmaps that align with business needs.
Structure data assets and pipelines to support reliable and scalable AI and machine learning applications.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
10+ years of progressive experience in IT/data architecture is required.
Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks, SQL, databases, data lakes/warehouses, cloud platforms, and systems integration methodologies.
Required experience with Snowflake.
Preferred experience with Matillion and DBT.
Ability to design and develop IT architecture solutions that integrate processes, applications, data, and technology.
Experience preparing and structuring data assets for AI and machine learning use cases.
Experience partnering with data governance functions within a life and annuity insurance or financial services organization is preferred.
