The Data Center Engineer, Infrastructure Senior Technical Analyst AVP is an intermediate level role within the Technology Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, drive Root Cause Analysis, and design testing approaches or automation for repetitive tasks. Key responsibilities include racking and stacking physical servers, structured cabling of copper and fiber-optic lines, power provisioning, and hardware commissioning. Required skills include experience with infrastructure technologies delivery, inventory documentation, and systemic problem solving within complex global environments. The role focuses on maintaining hardware, cooling, and networking ecosystems while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies to safeguard assets and data.
Create complex project plans and perform impact analyses to resolve high-impact technical problems.
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and design testing approaches to restore and maintain services.
Automate repetitive tasks and develop reporting streams, metrics, and analytical tools.
Define hardware requirements and update processes, procedures, and operating system applications.
Provide technical direction and coaching to lower-level analysts as a subject matter expert.
Perform physical infrastructure tasks including racking, stacking, cabling, and power provisioning for hardware.
Manage asset inventory by logging serial numbers and updating hardware databases.
Assess business risks to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal security policies.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in racking, stacking, structured cabling, power provisioning, hardware commissioning, decommissioning, and inventory documentation.
4+ years of experience with LAN/WAN and help desk administration.
4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a track record of operational process change and improvement.
4+ years of experience with network maintenance, technical guidance, and security.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams under pressure or to a deadline.
Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment (preferred).
