Cybersecurity Intern

What you'll do

• Implement and test Next Gen platform security products as part of the software development life cycle.
• Perform quality code reviews to ensure software conforms to secure coding guidelines and designs.
• Drive vulnerability analysis, remediation, and the identification of security process improvements.
• Incorporate the latest security trends and threat intelligence into organizational threat models.
• Execute enterprise risk management standards to identify, assess, mitigate, and report on risks and controls.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for scoping, testing, and remediation of risks with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Validate key technology controls to provide early warnings to management for timely remediation.
• Support the development of tools and solutions to enable technology risk management across the organization.

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be returning to school in Fall 2027.
• Basic understanding of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities like the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
• Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Experience working with large data sets to determine patterns and key takeaways.
• Interest in learning risk management methodologies and frameworks such as SOX, COBIT, NIST, CSA, ITIL, PCI, or GDPR (preferred).
