Cybersecurity Engineer (Linux DevSecOps Engineer)

What you'll do

• Plan, design, engineer, and implement security-related technologies and infrastructure.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security hardware and software in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security platforms.
• Perform hardening, auditing, monitoring, and logging for hosts and operating systems.
• Research emerging security technologies and determine their appropriate use within the company.
• Create standard operating procedures, documentation, and protocols for security operations.
• Engineer and administer security platforms including SIEM/SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.
• Leverage DevSecOps and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform to develop security capabilities.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in building, designing, and maintaining enterprise security tools.
• Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in security engineering.
• Must have 5+ years of experience implementing advanced cyber security technology in a complex environment.
• Must have 5+ years of experience leveraging DevSecOps and secure architecture design principles to develop security capabilities.
• Must have 5+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Must have 5+ years of scripting experience using Python or equivalent languages.
• Must have hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Must have hands-on experience with automation technologies like Ansible or Terraform, public cloud infrastructures (AWS), and security platforms including SIEM/SOAR.
• Security and Cloud certifications are preferred (CISSP, Splunk Admin, AWS Solution Architect).
• Experience with compliance frameworks, AI Engineering, or AI security is preferred.
