Cyber Security Principal

What you'll do

• Drive the security strategy for your product area and solve broad, systemic security issues.
• Lead and facilitate threat modeling for large-scale, complex systems while teaching development teams to do the same.
• Review system architecture and design to identify subtle security flaws and propose secure design patterns.
• Design, build, and implement the security automation strategy and integrate new security tools for the portfolio.
• Mentor product security and development engineers on security best practices, design, and architecture.
• Act as a subject matter expert to influence cross-functional technical and architectural decisions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal training in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in IT information security.
• Skills in IT security, infrastructure, and experience with security and risk frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Strong technical and consulting skills, project management capability, and strong communication skills.
• 3-5+ years in a dedicated application, product, or offensive security leadership role (preferred).
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C# (preferred).
• Deep practical expertise in secure architecture, threat modeling, and building security automation (preferred).
• Advanced security certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, or CISSP (preferred).
