As a Cyber Project Manager & Engagement Lead (Defense Division) within the Defense CTO Delivery Services Team, you will lead matrixed, cross-functional teams to deliver cyber modernization outcomes across the defense portfolio. You will manage full-lifecycle engagements including technical security assessments, mitigation strategy selection, and implementation focused on Zero Trust principles, RMF-aligned architecture, OT/ICS security, and platform and weapons system cyber hardening. Your daily work involves translating practice offerings into actionable engagement plans with Integrated Master Schedules while aligning delivery practices to ITIL 4, DevSecOps, and agile principles. You will utilize skills in budgeting, cybersecurity, portfolio management, and program management to coordinate infrastructure, cloud operations, systems engineering, software, and AI/ML. The role addresses critical defense-grade engineering challenges by mapping mission requirements to Zero Trust controls and RMF control inheritance across enterprise IT and edge environments.
Lead and coach a matrixed cyber delivery team through full-lifecycle engagements including security assessments and mitigation strategies.
Translate technical offerings into actionable engagement plans with defined scopes, milestones, and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Operationalize reusable assets such as playbooks and delivery accelerators across offensive/defensive cyber and OT/ICS domains.
Align project delivery practices with ITIL 4, DevSecOps solutions, and Zero Trust principles.
Map mission requirements to RMF control inheritance and defense-grade engineering practices for enterprise and edge platforms.
Deliver data-driven narratives and briefings to executives regarding technical outcomes and program status.
Evaluate emerging technology performance and manage the transition of research projects into the production portfolio.
What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field (4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree).
15+ years of related experience.
15+ years of experience supervising and coaching high performing technical teams (preferred).
Experience with DoW and U.S. Military customers (preferred).
Proficiency in budgeting, cybersecurity, delivery methodologies, portfolio management, and program management.
Expertise in OT/ICS security, platform & weapons system cyber, infrastructure, AI/ML, DevSecOps, and PMP certification (preferred).
