Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.
Automate routine tasks using scripting to improve system efficiency.
Monitor network and security events while providing analysis and response to incidents.
Develop procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with Configuration Management for hardware and software.
Implement and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures across the enterprise.
Manage personnel by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations for junior administrators.
Author and update Information System Authorization documentation to support assessment and authorization activities.
Participate in Change Control Boards and perform risk assessments during security audits.
What we're looking for
Must currently hold an active Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or a master’s with 6–10 years of experience.
Hold current DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
Detailed understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux systems, system virtualization, and DISA STIG implementation.
Experience with compliance scanning tools like SCAP and vulnerability scanning tools like ACAS.
Familiarity with network technologies in a classified environment including crypto and key management.
Additional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCSP, MCSE, or SANS GIAC (preferred).
