What you'll do

  • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting to improve system efficiency.
  • Monitor system health and respond to network and security events with long-term fixes.
  • Develop procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with Configuration Management for hardware and software.
  • Implement and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures across the enterprise.
  • Author and update IS Authorization documentation to support Assessment and Authorization activities.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and personnel management for a team of junior administrators.
  • Support compliance requirements including patching, STIG implementation, and security audits.

What we're looking for

  • Must currently hold an active TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8–12 years of related experience, or a master's with 6–10 years of related experience.
  • Must currently hold a DoDM 8140 IAT Level II certification.
  • Detailed understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and system virtualization in secure network environments.
  • Hands-on experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and management.
  • Experience with compliance scanning tools (e.g., SCAP) and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., ACAS).
  • Additional certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, CCSP, MCSE, and/or SANS GIAC (preferred).
