CWL Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform system engineering and functional design for the system under development.
• Manage payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, and weapon simulation.
• Define and document message exchanges, user interfaces, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Ensure functional and technical specifications are complete, accurate, and meet standards.
• Develop system design and write technical requirements from external sources.
• Deliver technical documentation to support customer review, approval, development, and testing.
• Utilize system modeling tools and requirements management software like DOORS.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Master's degree plus 6 months of relevant experience is required.
• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering degree from an accredited school (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards (preferred).
• Experience developing system design and writing technical requirements (preferred).
• Experience using DOORS or system modeling tools (preferred).
