Required expertise includes designing analog blocks such as current mirrors, high resolution DACs, ADCs, Phase Locked Loops, Delay Locked Loops, Oscillators, Trans-Impedance Amplifiers, and LDOs. You must understand power, error, and noise budgeting, mixed signal design flows, and reliability design rules.

What you'll do

Establish silicon requirements for Touch, Optical, Motion, and Health sensors with Systems and Platform teams.
Lead efforts to develop, integrate, characterize, and test silicon components.
Deliver production-worthy first revision silicon on schedule according to system requirements.
Drive continuous improvements in analog design methodology to achieve high-quality first silicon.
Manage vendor development of new process technologies, next-generation architectures, and circuit designs.
Verify, validate, and test designs to ensure long-term reliability.
Manage project schedules and support multi-functional engineering efforts.

What we're looking for

Experience designing key analog blocks such as current mirrors, high resolution DAC, high resolution ADC, PLLs, DLLs, Oscillators, TIAs, or LDOs.
MS degree and 10+ years relevant industry experience (preferred).
Experience taking projects from the concept phase through product ramp and mass production (preferred).
Understanding of power, error, and noise budgeting with respect to circuit implementation and topology trade-offs (preferred).
Knowledge and experience in IC process technologies, mixed signal design flows, reliability design rules, ESD, and latch-up testing (preferred).
Experience with industrial standards and practices in appropriate technologies (preferred).
Work experience with high volume manufacturing (preferred).
