As a Cross Domain Solution Engineer, you will join the team to support the engineering of DoD afloat network systems and shape C4I missions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving these systems using advanced technology solutions while translating real-world needs into technical specifications. Your daily work involves investigating and resolving issues across multiple applications and technologies, as well as revising system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, and sustainability. The role requires expertise in operating systems, network engineering, and information technology. You will utilize specific tools and technologies including Radiant Mercury, Everfox, Secure Operating System Trusted Thin Client, or Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client. This position focuses on the technical challenge of providing first-class information technology solutions for maritime environments, requiring a TS/SCI clearance to manage complex cross-domain security requirements.
Design and develop cross-domain systems (CDS) for DoD afloat network environments.
Translate real-world mission requirements into technical specifications for engineering solutions.
Develop hardware and software solutions to resolve complex problems and implement system enhancements.
Investigate and resolve technical issues spanning multiple applications and organizations.
Create or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, and sustainability.
Brief senior leaders on technical progress and project status.
Provide technical leadership in the planning and implementation of physical and logical C4I solutions.
Guide team members on engineering practices and program policies for afloat network systems.
What we're looking for
TS/SCI clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or Physical Science is required.
3+ years of experience supporting the engineering of information technology systems for a DoD or government agency is required if holding a degree.
5+ years of experience supporting the engineering of information technology systems for a DoD or government agency is required in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of experience with engineering solutions across technologies, including Radiant Mercury, Secure Operating System Trusted Thin Client, or Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client.
Experience with Radiant Mercury or Everfox technology.
Knowledge of systems engineering and information technology.
