What you'll do

Design and operate model-serving infrastructure for LLMs, vision pipelines, and agentic workflows beyond simple third-party API calls.
Develop Python REST API backends and data models to manage large-scale image, video, and metadata catalogs.
Build and scale asynchronous compute jobs to handle long-running analysis tasks and distributed system workloads.
Implement RAG systems and vector storage infrastructure to make internal media corpora accessible to partner teams.
Manage the full lifecycle of AI/ML models, including versioning, monitoring for regressions, and balancing cost and latency.
Translate complex workflows from engineering, science, and quality teams into reliable backend services.
Ensure the reliability, performance, and observability of production systems used by cross-functional teams.

What we're looking for

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production backend systems.
Strong proficiency in Python with a track record of owning production backend services end to end.
Experience building and operating production REST services at scale.
Demonstrated experience hosting and serving AI/ML models (LLMs, vision models) in production including inference, scaling, and monitoring.
Working knowledge of asynchronous job execution patterns for long-running computations.
Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals such as consistency, coordination, and failure handling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
