What you'll do

Architect cutting-edge CPU performance features with RTL and implementation teams.

Profile and optimize critical workloads for CPU performance and power.
Correlate the performance of RTL with CPU performance simulators.

What we're looking for

Minimum BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in CPU performance architecture, micro-architecture design, and performance analysis.
Experience working in a performance modeling environment.
Experience using C/C++.
Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred).
Proficiency in scripting languages including Perl and Python (preferred).
Knowledge and experience with common performance benchmarks and workloads (preferred).
Knowledge of OS internals and compiler technology (preferred).
