JOB TITLE: CPU Design Verification Engineer As a CPU Design Verification Engineer, you will own the verification of a specific area of functionality within a CPU design. Working closely with architecture and RTL designers, you will ensure the functional correctness of the design by developing comprehensive test plans and test environments. Your daily responsibilities include developing tests in assembly, C, or vectors, as well as creating coverage monitors and checkers. You will utilize SystemVerilog or C-base transactors to verify the design and analyze coverage to ensure all test cases are met. The role requires expertise in CPU architecture, digital logic design, and microarchitecture. You must possess programming knowledge in C/C++ or SystemVerilog to solve complex hardware verification problems and support the successful delivery of functional products.

What you'll do

Verify the functional correctness of specific CPU design areas with architecture and RTL designers.
Develop comprehensive test plans and verification environments for the design.
Write tests in assembly, C, or vectors based on established test plans.
Create coverage monitors and analyze data to ensure all test cases are met.
Develop checkers and SystemVerilog or C-base transactors to verify design functionality.

What we're looking for

Minimum BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with CPU architecture.
Experience in digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture.
Experience developing testplans/testbenches, C-based transactors, and writing/debugging tests.
Programming knowledge in C/C++ or SystemVerilog.
Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (preferred).
Operating system knowledge (preferred).
Experience in post-silicon bringup (preferred).
Experience with advanced verification techniques (preferred).
