As a Corporate Strategy Consultant, you will join the specialized IBM Corporate Strategy team to provide strategic perspectives that directly impact overall corporate direction. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing problems, formulating hypotheses, and delivering data-driven recommendations to help Business Units investigate new market opportunities and business models. To succeed, you must possess strong problem-solving capabilities, deep analytical skills, and powerful communication and storytelling abilities to translate complex ambiguities into structured solutions. You will utilize research from primary interviews, analyst reports, and internal databases to challenge the status quo. This role focuses on solving problems amidst rapid technological disruptions while helping define the company's position within the hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence, and quantum markets.

What you'll do

Shape C-suite decisions and strategic direction through targeted project engagements.
Identify root causes, test hypotheses, and determine business outcomes with Business Unit leaders.

Develop fact-based insights on markets and competitors using research, interviews, and internal databases.
Translate complex, ambiguous problems into structured approaches to identify growth opportunities.
Create and deliver high-quality presentations to communicate findings to senior executives.
Collaborate with client teams to implement and manage actionable solutions for business transformation.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Master's Degree in Business Administration or Management.
Must have proven business experience.
Must be fluent in the English language.
Ability to travel approximately 10% annually.
Must possess strong problem-solving skills to translate complex ambiguities into structured solutions.
Must have deep analytical skills and the ability to formulate data-driven recommendations.
Must possess powerful communication and storytelling skills for verbal and written interactions with senior executives.
Must be able to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
