What you'll do

  • Design, build, and support enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
  • Lead the engineering modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native, API-first architectures.
  • Develop strategic data solutions and pipelines using Databricks and modern data engineering frameworks.
  • Design and implement integrations across enterprise platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365.
  • Establish engineering standards, reusable design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines to improve developer productivity.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through code reviews, architecture designs, and complex problem-solving.
  • Mentor engineers and lead technical assessments to build high-performing engineering teams.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 8+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions using Java technologies.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Distributed Systems, and Enterprise Integrations.
  • Proven experience leading development efforts for large-scale enterprise platforms.
  • Strong hands-on development, troubleshooting, and experience designing scalable and resilient software architectures.
  • Experience leading technical teams without direct management authority.
  • Strong understanding of the software engineering lifecycle, DevOps, testing, and release management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong experience with Databricks and modern data engineering platforms (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services (preferred).
  • Experience supporting Human Resources, Legal, Audit, Compliance, Risk, or other Corporate Functions domains (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions, data-driven applications, or modern analytics and reporting platforms (preferred).
  • Financial services industry experience (preferred).
  • Cloud, Java, Databricks, or Architecture certifications (preferred).
