Candidates must possess expertise in software engineering methodologies, computer architecture, and operating system internals. Preferred skills include experience with release management, CI/CD pipelines, developer productivity, and analytics tools like Splunk or Tableau. The role focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of Core OS software operations across all development phases from pre-silicon simulation to shipping systems.

What you'll do

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status documentation for operations and workflow initiatives.
  • Act as a central hub coordinating between software engineering, quality, devops, and build/test platform teams.
  • Communicate requirements, milestones, and critical updates to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Track execution of dependencies and drive focus on critical path deliverables.
  • Coordinate complex groups of changes through build and integration systems.
  • Liaise with the Build EPM team regarding software program deadlines and milestones.
  • Identify risks to software delivery and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of experience in program or project management in software development.
  • Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and related dependencies.
  • Familiarity with components of Computer Architecture and Operating Systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills tailored to multiple audiences.
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Experience in Build and Release Engineering or Release Management.
  • Understanding of software build pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps lifecycle improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Splunk or Tableau.
