As a Conversational AI Platform Engineer on the AI Engineering team, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions, including voice bots, chat bots, and agentic AI applications. You must also implement security guardrails, prompt injection mitigation, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure enterprise AI performance.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI platforms including voice and chat bots using AWS Lex.
Build and orchestrate Agentic AI applications leveraging Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore.
Develop production-grade Generative AI applications using tool calling, function calling, and multi-agent workflows.
Design intent models, conversation flows, prompts, and Natural Language Understanding capabilities.
Monitor and optimize AI agents for accuracy, latency, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Secure enterprise AI applications using guardrails, prompt injection mitigation, and data protection controls.
Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and complex agent orchestration patterns.

What we're looking for

Experience developing Conversational AI and Agentic AI platforms using Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Lex, and AWS Strands SDK/Framework.
Experience building production-grade Generative AI solutions using LLM application development, agent workflows, tool calling, and function calling.
Experience designing voice and chat bot solutions, including intent modeling, conversation design, prompt engineering, and NLU concepts.
Strong AWS cloud development experience with Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Experience securing enterprise AI applications through guardrails, prompt injection mitigation, data protection, and responsible AI controls.
Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing AI agents and conversational AI platforms in production environments.
Experience with conversational analytics, agent evaluation frameworks, and bot performance optimization.
Experience using at least one AI-assisted development platform such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude.
